I am very pleased to inform you that we are taking another step forward in eTrapez.
We have created an application thanks to which you can learn to calculate derivatives in a completely new way.
The principle is very simple: you solve the derivative from our Homework as before, with the difference that you enter the next steps not on a piece of paper with a pen, but in a computer browser.
Our application checks the correctness of each of your entered transitions, and also verifies the final result.
Example 1
Let’s take the derivative of y = \ln \left( {\frac{{5x - 1)){{3x + 2))} \right) in our application. This is example 19 from the Homework for Lesson 2 of the Course Derivatives and the Study of Variation of Functions .
We choose the appropriate example from the list:

We correct ourselves, in the formula for the derivative of the quotient, the numerator should of course be minus:

We solve calmly further, in addition to counting the derivatives in the numerator, we also cross shorten:
